RecReach is operated by its founder(s) in Texas, United States. When a legal entity is formed, this Privacy Policy will apply to that entity as successor operator.

2. Information You Provide

When you create an account or use the Service, you may provide:

• Name or username
• Email address
• Profile information
• Photos or media
• Messages and content you post
• Feedback or support requests

3. Location Information

RecReach uses location solely for nearby discovery features. We collect your device's approximate location only while the app is open and active. We do not:

• Track location in the background
• Store historical location logs
• Store continuous movement history
• Share your exact coordinates with other users

Other users only see that you are at or near a specific court or location within the app. You can disable location permissions at any time in your device settings.

4. Device & Usage Information

We may automatically collect limited technical data, including:

• Device type
• Operating system
• App version
• Crash logs
• Basic product analytics, collected via PostHog

This helps us maintain and improve the Service. We do not show third-party advertisements, and we do not sell your personal information.

5. RecPoints

RecPoints is a free, in-app engagement and rewards currency. RecPoints has no cash value, cannot be purchased, and cannot be redeemed for money or transferred off the platform. It is not a financial product and involves no real-money payments, wagering, or cash-out.

6. How We Use Information

We use information to:

• Create and manage accounts
• Show nearby courts and activity
• Enable user profiles and content sharing
• Operate messaging and social features
• Provide customer support
• Improve performance and reliability
• Enforce our Terms and prevent abuse
• Comply with legal obligations

7. How Information Is Shared

We share information only as necessary. Depending on your activity, other users may see your username, profile content you choose to share, and your presence at a court within the app. Exact GPS coordinates are never shared.

We use trusted third-party providers to operate the app:

• Google Firebase — authentication, database, storage, and cloud functions
• PostHog — product analytics
• Google Maps — mapping
• Expo — push notifications and app delivery

These providers process data only to provide services to us. We may also disclose information to comply with law or legal process, enforce our Terms, protect users or the public, or prevent fraud and abuse. If RecReach is sold, merged, or reorganized, information may transfer as part of that transaction.

8. Data Retention

We retain information only as long as necessary to operate the Service. Account data is kept while your account is active; content may remain until deleted by you or us; location data is not stored historically. You may request account deletion at any time.

9. Your Choices & Account Deletion

You may:

• Update your profile information
• Delete content you post
• Disable location permissions
• Delete your account directly in the app: Settings → Account Security → Delete Account

Deleting your account removes your account and associated data. If you can't access the app, you can also request deletion or data access by emailing support@recreach.com.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Age Restrictions

The Service is intended only for users 18 years or older. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If we learn that a minor has created an account, we will delete it.

12. International Users

The Service is operated in the United States. If you access it from outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States.

13. Do Not Sell or Share

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-site tracking or advertising.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. If changes are material, we will update the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Service means you accept the revised policy.
